Reliance jio is master mind behind all these changes in tariff For unlimited 4g plans. The new trend is unlimited 4g bundle plan which offers unlimited calls and unlimited internet with long validities. Here Bsnl came with a lots of "new unlimited plans" to counter Reliance jio offers.
Even operators like BSNL which is a state-owned telecom company has not kept itself away from the competition. In its latest bid to compete with Reliance Jio’s offering, BSNL rolled out a voice and data plan for Rs 429. The new plan offers unlimited voice and 1GB data per day for 90 days for its prepaid subscribers. The plan has been launched to compete with Jio’s Rs 399 plan.
“This Voice & Data Centric Plan is available for Rs. 429/ ie Rs. 143/ per month which gives unlimited voice (Local/STD) on any net and 90 GB data ( @ 1 GB per day) for 90 days, which is the most competitive plan in present market scenario,” said R.K.Mittal, Director (CM) BSNL, in a press statement, according to the Indian Express report.
Meanwhile, the state-owned telecom company has also launched some special vouchers which will offer its users to lower call rates to 15 paise per minute. As per NDTV report, BSNL said that its STV (Special Tariff Voucher) of Rs. 8 will lower the BSNL-to-BSNL call rate to 15 paise per minute for 30 days from the date of recharge. BSNL’s latest STVs also offer lower rates for off-net calls – calls made from BSNL to other networks. The STV priced at Rs. 8 will reduce off-net call costs to 35 paise per minute.
